About Cauchy’s Stories
Cauchy’s Stories is about building real data and AI systems in the real world, not feeding the hype.
The writing team consists of Maria, Casper, Eirini, and Steven. We also run a data and AI consulting company called Cauchy, and bring 30+ years of combined experience in MLOps, data architecture, enterprise data platforms, governance automation, and applied machine learning across retail, IoT, and large-scale production systems.
The name Cauchy comes from Augustin-Louis Cauchy, the mathematician whose work on convergence and optimization laid the foundation for gradient descent, the algorithm at the heart of machine learning. Without his contribution, modern AI would not exist.
